AWS is teaming up with Udacity to award 2,500 students with scholarships in 2023. You can apply online<\/a> here. It\u2019s a nano degree program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications will be open from Febr\u200duary 1\u200d, 20\u200d23 – Ma\u200dy 3\u200d1, 20\u200d23<\/strong>. Note that everything from start to finish will be 100% remote.<\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the AWS AI & ML Scholarship Program?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The AWS AI & ML Scholarship Program, in collaboration with Udacity, is an AI\/ML-focused scholarship program providing 2,500 scholarships over 2023, as well as mentorship, to students that identify as underserved and underrepresented in technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program aims to make the future tech workforce more diverse by removing financial barriers, providing training for careers in tech, and offering mentorship support to individuals who are underserved or underrepresented in tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any costs to apply for this program?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

No, there are no costs to apply. Additionally, all aspects of AWS DeepRacer Student, the service used to complete the application requisites, is free for students to learn, train, and participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility for <\/strong>AWS AI & ML Scholarship Program?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Any student over the age of 16 who self-identifies as underserved or underrepresented in technology and is currently enrolled in high school or college may apply (subject to terms and conditions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I enroll in the AWS AI & ML Scholarship Program?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Start by signing up for AWS DeepRacer Student and opt in to the AI & ML Scholarship program. There are currently over 20 hours of free content available to start learning today. Track your progress for the AI & ML scholarship program requirements on AWS DeepRacer Student. Once you complete the prerequisites, you\u2019ll get a unique code via email that you can use to submit your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship timeline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

February 1 – May 31, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AWS AI & ML Scholarship applications open on Udacity\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May 31, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last day to complete prerequisites on the AWS DeepRacer Student website to earn scholarship access on Udacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 12, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AWS AI & ML Scholarship recipients notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 14, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AWS AI & ML Scholarship Nanodegree program begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will get to work on real-world projects with the most up-to-date content, co-created with top industry experts so you\u2019re ready to apply your new skills immediately.
