As a technologist, some of my friends ask me about how do I learn and keep myself updated. Needless to say, reading is one of the important aspects that helps me. Here are some books and resources that I have gone thru and would recommend to get yourself onboard to reading.

Learn Machine Learning & Analytics

This is a step-by-step guide to Programming and Data Analysis using Python for Beginners and Intermediate Level. The book comes loaded with illustrations and real-life examples, thus offering comprehensive learning experience.

Sony Alpha a6400

This Sony camera offers fantastic image quality for pics and phenomenal performance for video for beginners.
I started off with this as my main camera and I absolutely love it.
I use it together with this lens, and this memory card.

Blue Yeti USB Microphone

This is the most straightforward microphone to set up & can be setup in no time.
You simply connect it to your computer's USB port and you're done.
I've tried out a few microphones. This is the best I've found, particularly for recording & screencasts.

Maono AU-100 Lavalier Mic

When I’m on the go and I need a quick recording I use this microphone.
I just plug it into my phone and use it together with a free app.
Super easy to use with decent sound quality.


Sennheiser HD 350BT Wireless

This is the best set of wireless headphones I’ve ever owned. It clears away the noisy distractions of the world so you can get deeper into your music, your work, or whatever you want to focus on

LED Ring Light (Dimmable)

I use a good ring light for portraits to bring out natural skin tones.
It offers modern Bi Color technology and the color temperature can be adjusted from 3,200 to 5,600 Kelvin.

Studio lights

Good lighting is an integral part of every video. I use a similar set to the ones here.
You certainly need a good set of lights specially if you’re filming in a naturally darker environment.
