This release of UiPath 2018 brings a Long Term Support version and multiple features to help you in terms of scalability, stability, as well as user experience.

- Support for SAML 2.0 which allows Orchestrator to handle both single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.
- Smart Card Robot Authentication to handle Common Access Cards and Personal Identity Verification support.
- Development floating bots supported now.
- Can use webhooks with Orchestrator and subscribe to Orchestrator events to notify your other applications (CRM / BPM).
- UiPath studio allows you to store project templates thus allowing you to configure you new projects quickly with all dependencies, libraries and custom components in place (Reusability).
- Introduction of Global Exception Handler. This is a type of workflow designed to determine the project’s behaviour when encountering an execution error. Only one Global Exception Handler can be added per automation project.
- For attended bots, the robot tray has got some improvements. Allows you to pause and resume the current process running right from the system tray.
- A new Report Status activity added under System activity pack, which enables you to create a custom status message that is displayed in the Robot Tray at any point in the execution of a workflow.
- Support for Dark Theme in both studio and orchestrator.
- Ability to enable/disable non-production and unattended-purposed machines right from orchestrator.
- Studio now supports a Repository Browser that gives you a peek inside TFS and SVN repositories.
